A final series of teaching, training and testing.  The August Summer Training our final revision that wraps up core subject skills along with well blended exam techniques.

We will recall, revisit and revise the core topics in English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

THIS TESTING IS SUITABLE FOR: This training is suitable for QE, Henrietta, CSSE Schools, Chelmsford, Woodford, Ilford, Kent and Bexley.

  • The tests will be consolidating the year’s learning.

NVR

  • A choice of topics: Series, Matrices, Odd one out, Similarity, Codes, Analogy

English Comprehension

  • Comprehension, Vocabulary: Synonyms and Antonyms

VR

  • Relationships – analogy, Odd one, Cloze, shuffled sentences

Non-Verbal Reasoning Workshop 2024

The Summer Non-Verbal Reasoning Workshop  (for children who will be getting into Year 5 this year) will teach children  step by step to introduce and  solve the various types of common non verbal reasoning question styles.

Course objective :

  1. Course objective :
    1. Teach them the fundamental rules and how to apply these to the various styles of NVR
    2. Inspect and finding patterns and reason out to be able to eliminate and decipher the right answer.
    3. Look at the various variables before concluding what the right answer could possibly be.
    4. Homework will be given for further home practise.

The NVR Workshop starts from TUESDAY – 20 Aug.  The class will be for 2 hours over 3 sessions and will include a final revision test on the last day.

NVR BOOSTER 2024

Non Verbal Reasoning  Booster

Also includes Spatial Reasoning

This is a brand-new NVR Booster course starts from  TUESDAY-13th Aug.  The class will be for 2 hours over 4 sessions plus a final test (an hour). As an extension we will be touching up on some spatial reasoning concepts too.

The aim would be to have a final revisit of the core concepts .  The session will offer children the opportunity to work on very challenging pieces of NVR which will be supported with explanation.

GL Exams are well known for its challenging Non-Verbal Reasoning sections. Completing the test within the time is a stretch. So, the sessions will have a lot challenging timed tests to improve speed.

We are looking forward to this Extended NVR Booster and we hope that children will get the best from our teaching.
