Creative Writing is an integral part of the 11+ exam process, as it allows students to demonstrate their ability to think critically and express themselves clearly and creatively.
This is important not only for the admissions process but also for academic and personal success in the long run.
ImagineInk ā our Descriptive Writing Course (starts on Friday 9thĀ May)
Ā The short course on writing aimsĀ
- to train your child’s imagination and originality to craft a piece of writing, such as a short story or a descriptive essay.
- to go beyond just conveying information
- to use language to paint a picture, evoke emotions, and create a sense of place or character.

This course is suitable for children who intend to be taking theĀ CSSEĀ 11 plus exam (King Edwards, Westcliffe, Southend, Colchester); Chelmsford County High and Henrietta Barnet.
Children will be given homework andĀ writingĀ assessments will be conducted as part of the course.Ā There areĀ 7 sessions (1hr 15 min each)
