- August Final Revision
A final series of teaching, training and testing. The August Summer Training is our final revision that wraps up core subject skills along with well blended exam techniques. We will recall, revisit, and revise the core topics in English, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
THIS TESTING IS SUITABLE FOR:
Woodford, Ilford, CSSE Schools, Chelmsford, , QE, Henrietta, Kent and Bexley.
EXAM REVISION
DAY 1 – TESTING, REVIEWING THE TEST AND TEACHING
English Comprehension – Multiple Choice | Multiple Choice Comprehension Retrieval, inference, word definition and language techniques. |
Comprehension – Extension | Practising a)Inference skills b) Word meaning based on contextual clues. |
Maths | Papers have been set to revise and test the topics of all subjects. The tests will be consolidating the year’s learning. |
NVR – Part 1 | A choice of topics: Series, Matrices, Odd one out, Similarity, Codes, Analogy |
VR – Part 1 | GL – Multiple Choice Test – Covering all GL patterns |
DAY 1 – REVISION PACK | To be taken home.- Based on classwork a homework assignment pack will be given to be completed at home |
DAY 2 – TESTING, REVIEWING THE TEST AND TEACHING
English Comprehension Written | Written format that will test them in: inferencing skills, ‘In your own words questions’ Contextual clues Presenting evidence. Literary skills |

RESULTS
A score sheet will be manually updated each day with the score of your child and sent back home after the test.

We are likely to use a combination of Multiple/ and or Standard type question papers.
- Multiple Choice test results will be emailed. Wrong questions can be reviewed via the portal.
- If any standard written tests are administered on Day 3, then the marked copy of the answer sheet will be handed back to the child for reviewing at home.
